The main reason for failure was found to be limited knowledge and experience to manage retail outlets in the R100 000 to R2 000 000 per month category. This size of operation does not allow the luxury of middle management. The operator of a business in this turnover segment has to have an all round knowledge of the business and also have hands on ability, whilst maintaining control.
We are well placed, because of our independence, to proactively monitor risk and so protect the franchisor, franchisee and the financial institution interests.
We have been operating since 2001 and have found that included in the above is “Cash Flow” drawing up and using business plans correctly.
We have successfully ventured into other fields such as industrial chemical manufacturing and retail of these chemicals, launched a specialized clothing boutique and have been contracted by financial institutions to analyze retail outlets from restaurants and fast foods to Laundromats and bakeries.
